Music electronics hacker extraordinaire and author of seminal book on the subject, Handmade Electronic Music, Nicolas Collins, will be giving a workshop at the lovely Common Ground (headquarters of Koma Elektronik) in Neukölln on the 6th of March! See event listing. This is highly recommended for anyone already into DIY electronics, or with an interest in getting started. I can tell from first-hand experience that Nicolas is an extremely sympathetic person, and a real trove of practical knowledge that he shares generously of. I’ve also heard extremely positive accounts from people who have attended his workshops.
Nicolas is also a brilliant experimental musician making use of his self built electronics, so do check him out as a performer as well if you’re able.
